After a brief stay in jail, a disillusioned ex-climate activist wants to get back at humanity for everything it did – and applies for a job at the large industrial oil company BirknerFlötz. Instead of being responsible for the next big ecological disaster, as she had hoped, she gets appointed to the company’s sustainability department.

What does it mean to create what other people call ‚home‘? DIN420 follows a group of architecture students through their first semester at uni, through bouts of academic frustration and fights with those damn civil engineers. We offer a comedy look past the facades of a field that is as inconspicuous as it is omnipresent. And, on the way, discuss issues of homelessness, sustainable construction and ableism vs. accessible design.
